Mission Statement
Board Suited®’s mission is to help ALL professionals of every gender, race and professional specialty develop their potential and further their knowledge and readiness to achieve a seat on the Board of Directors. Through our comprehensive self-directed educational curriculum, BoardSuited® will increase the pipeline and the quality of diverse and underrepresented candidates for Board of Director roles. We accomplish this by taking the mystery out of the workings of a Board and providing access to and insights from seated board members resulting in a clearer vision of the path to Board service for all those who may aspire to be on an Advisory, Non-Profit or Corporate Board.
BoardSuited® Goals
To increase the pipeline of qualified candidates for Board of Director roles by providing BoardSuited® learners with board readiness education earlier on in their careers. Thus giving them the ability to assess their skills and identify gaps that need to be addressed so that they can course correct to gain the skills necessary for board service.
To increase the quality of candidates for Board of Director roles by educating BoardSuited® learners on all aspects of Board Service and the inner workings of Corporate, Non-Profit and Advisory Boards and by giving them access to insights from seated board members.
To increase the diversity of gender, race and professional skills of qualified candidates for Board of Director roles. To provide a BoardSuited® certification that graduates of the program can proudly display on resumes. Linkedin and digital media that distinguishes them as candidate who possesses the essential skills for boardroom success.
Board Suited graduates become continuous learners through our membership program that provides on-going access to thought leadership from board members and subject matter experts.

Board Suited is passionate about educating professionals who aspire to be on boards. We believe that knowledge is power and we know that given the competitive landscape of gaining a seat on a board, preparation is the key to success.
We want to ensure that those who are currently board ready gain the valuable tools they need to best position themselves for board service as well as the knowledge of what to expect in their role and responsibilities as a new board member.
We care deeply about not only educating, but inspiring and instilling confidence in those professionals who are not yet board ready, but aspire to be on a board. We understand the importance of giving learners an opportunity and tools early enough in their careers to both gain an understanding of the workings of a board and the ability to assess their own skills and identify gaps that need to be addressed so that they can course correct and gain the skills necessary for board service.
We develop all of our offerings with a holistic understanding of our learners needs and we work diligently to ensure that they have a positive, interesting and fun time taking our course.
